¨ Lined piping is needed with a transfer pump

¨ Metal is pumped through the insulated pipe to where it is needed

¨ Bolts onto the pump and to each other

¨ Liners can be replaced when they wear out

¨ Important: Cannot have horizontal runs - pipe must either be sloped toward the outlet or back toward the pump  to prevent freeing in pipe when flow is stopped.

¨ We use Sch. 40 steel pipe
